I found one on Amazon that was a warehouse deal with damaged packaging (pff) and said yes to the aluminum paddle goodness.
My fellow vidya gamers get it but for you other guys, imagine the feel of a really well made item. I always liken it to a nice handgun or a well made watch. You can sense to precision and detail and intent of craftsmanship and I always appreciate that.

I kinda do want a Xbone Elite controller. So I can use the paddles to shift and not the crappy top buttons.

I want to know how one would blip the throttle on downshifts in FM6 with those paddles. If you weren’t changing the clutch button preset it would seem a bit challenging.

I hope that this one is better than the regular controllers. The right stick on mine is drifting up and driving me crazy.

I dunno, I have never had anything good enough to bother experiment using the clutch during a game. We’ll see. I know there are sliders to adjust the throw from long to short for the paddles, so that could be helpful there.
Just imagine being able to initiate a slide in Horizon with a clutch kick and not just e-brake.

Aluminum and frictions rings and stuff. Also adjustable height and paddle throw. I’m looking forward to it.

Had a cool case n stuff too. Any object that I handle frequently I prefer to have a good feel to it. This should be very nice in the hand.

The only reason I use auto mostly on Forza is because I would really like to have paddles.

Heard elite controller has a shitty deadzone in the sticks and sucks ass for racing, heard this from guys I know who spent 200+ to get it for forza 6.

Nice. Now I know what I want for my birthday.

Yeah I read some complaints about it but there is even an app from Microsoft that allows you to remap the functions of the buttons and also to edit deadzone size. So I feel confident that any adjustments I need, I can make. We’ll see though.

I have this controller, and have had it from day 1. It is fantastic. It just feels so much better in your hands.
